MEGAN BISHOP

Grew up in the Midwest, attended the Minneapolis College of Art + Design,
earned a degree in Illustration, and moved to Seattle in 2009.

She does all the things. Her fashion and millinery work, Apatico, is featured in international publications such as Marie Claire, Elle, Teen Vogue, Bust Magazine, and more. She has shown in many fashion shows in Minneapolis, Seattle, NYC, and Vancouver, BC and participated in group art shows in Seattle and Minneapolis.

Current collaborative projects include creating headpieces and accessories with fashion designer Samantha Rei and an accessories capsule collection with Anhedonie.

In her spare time she loves to photograph local Seattle bands and oil paint. Unfortunately she has no spare time because she works always.

Her design aesthetic is colorful yet simple and allows the artwork to shine. Her illustration work is both playful and lovely, often exploring her love of dark fashion. Her girls are extension of playing dress up, beauty for beauty's sake, and probably a reflection of all the characters she really wants to be.
